“Illuminate Your Ramadan: Support Izzah Learning Qur’an Center’s Campaign”

Izzah Learning Center (Registered Charity No. 80654 7782) is Ottawa’s first Qur’an school for women and children. By the Tawfeeq of Allah (SWT), we have been serving our community for more than 10 years by providing quality face-to-face learning to ensure students achieve accuracy and excellence in reciting the Qur’an.

Izzah has continuously developed and offered programs and activities to support its vision to:

• Be among the leaders in Qur’anic education
• Develop skilled & talented reciters of the Qur’an
• Foster excellence in recitation & memorization
• Nurture reciters with Islamic ethics & values to be reflected in their lives, their families, and Canadian society
• Develop proficient teachers in Qur’anic recitation
• Support youth to invest leisure time in learning and living Islamic values, and developing into productive citizens

We praise and thank Allah (SWT) for always helping us to overcome many challenges.  Izzah was greatly impacted by the pandemic and continues to recover from lost revenue and increasing operating expenses. Our highest expense is the monthly rent of the facility and we are unable to find another suitable location for a lower cost.

We are appealing to you during this blessed month of Ramadan to help us raise $30,000 so we may continue to provide quality learning to the community. 

Your contributions will help secure a safe space for Muslim sisters, girls and children to develop a sense of belonging, community and attachment to the Qur’an.

Our success is largely due to the generous support of our students, parents and community.  Your donations will count as Sadaqa Jaariyah Insha’Allah (continuous charity) beyond your lifetime.

You will be rewarded for every student who recites and memorizes the Qur’an.
