Izzah – Pearls
(Ages 7-10)
A special program offered on the weekends for young sisters ages 7-10. The premise of the program is to instil the love of Allah (swt), His messenger (saw), and Islam in the hearts of our daughters from a young age.
Izzah pearls is a year-long program running from September to June, except with a break during Ramadan.
The program aims to nurture the spirit, mind, and body of young girls through
the following activities:
- Islamic topics to instill correct beliefs/aqeedah, foster good manners/akhlaaq, and live Islam (Salah, fasting, etc.)
- Increase Islamic knowledge (Tafseer, stories of prophets & companions)
- Recreational and social activities to create friendships and strengthen sisterhood (potlucks, gift exchanges, Eid party)
- Character development (respect, responsibility, kindness, honesty, justice, confidence)
- Healthy living
- Cooking/Baking
- Arts and Crafts
