A group of sisters take the time to review the Qur’aan they have memorized and read from a book called “My first time contemplating the Qur’aan” by Adil Mohamed Khalil.

Starting from Juzu ‘Amma, the author shares short personal reflections and lessons on each Surah.

A translation of key points and additional reflections are prepared for English speaking sisters.

Occasionally, the sisters may share a light meal, tea/coffee and some dates together. It is a class where sisters connect with one another spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually.

Often, this class is the highlight of the week for Izzah teachers, students, and sisters. It gives us the Emaan boost we need to be better servants of Allah (swt) and in turn, better mothers, wives, sisters, friends, and human beings in general.

The gathering is open to any sister and is free of charge.
